سوچتا ہوں تجھے نیند تو خوب آتی ہے
کہیں ! ساری رات تو اشک بہاتی ہے
کہیں ایسا تو نہیں تو میرا نام بھلاتی ہے
حیراں ہوں جب آتی ہے تو آنکھ ملاتی ہے
شام ہوتے ہی جو تو کھاٹ پہ جا پڑتی ہے
اپنی پلکوں پہ خواب تو مرے سجاتی ہے
بہت مسرت ہوتی ہے تو جب آتی ہے
کیا یہ عید سعید توبھی مناتی ہے
وہ تاریک زمانوں سے تو اک روشنی ہے
پھر بھی تجھے مری یاد توضرور آتی ہے
دل میں رکھ کر مجھے توسوچتی ہے
میری کہانیاں کیا بہنوں کو تو سناتی ہے
یہ وہ منطق دُنیا نہیں تو جو سمجھتی ہے
یہ ہے محبت مری اور تو عاشقی ہے
