حیران ہوں اِس بار کسی سوچ میں آ کے

سگریٹ کو بجھایا ہے مگر ہاتھ جلا کے

دیکھا ہے تو اشیاء کو اُٹھانے کی پڑی تھی

چائے کو بھری میز کی چیزوں پہ گرا کے

چلتے ہوئے رستے میں کہیں چوٹ لگی تھی

معلوم ہوا ہے تو کہیں رات کو آ کے

ہو جاتا ہوں اکثر تو کہیں اور پہ مصروف

اور فون کو رکھ دیتا ہوں میں کال ملا کے

گھنٹی تو فقط میرے تصور کی کڑی ہے

ہوتا یہ احساس مجھے گیٹ پہ جا کے
