بن کر خوشبو بسیرا کر سانسوں میں میری

بہت بہیڑ ہے اس کے دل میں یہاں سے نکل

واجد یہ شہر ء رفتگاں ہے یہاں سے نکل

ذرا بڑھا تو سہی معاملات ء دل و جاں کو

کاغذوں و ورق چھوڑ اپنے درمیاں سے نکل

تو کوئی خوشی ہے تو دل میں ہی جگا بنا

تو کوئی گلہ ہے تو لبوں کی کمان سے نکل

تو جاں ہے تو لہو بن کے دے حیات مجھکو

تو غمِ عاشقاں ہے تو میری آنکھ نکل

بن کر خوشبو بسیرا کر سانسوں میں میری

گر گرد و غبار ہے تو سہرا و بیاباں سے نکل

بن کے دلِ امید دہڑکتا جا میرے سینے میں

پھر جو قسا تمام ہو میرا تو بن کے جاں نکل
