بہت امید تھی ، بہت انتظار تھا

ضیغم ر قریشی

بہت امید تھی ، بہت انتظار تھا

ہر اک پل صرف ترا طلبگار تھا

راہ میں نگاہیں تھیں ہم نے بچھائیں

پلک جھپک کے جو کرنا دیدار تھا

اب آئے ہو تو کس شان سے

کس گھمنڈ سے ، کس مان سے

ہوا جن کا برپا شور ہے

بس ان کا حکم سرکار تھا ؟

ہے تم نے بہت ستایا ہمیں

ہے راتوں کو ڈرایا ہمیں

یہ جو چہروں پے اب خوف ہے

تیری وحشت کا علمبردار تھا !

لڑتے غفلت سے اب ہوں جھک گیا

کچھ سوچ سمجھ کے اب ہوں رک گیا

آفت ہے نہیں تو اور ہے یہ کیا

سوچ میں مری تو دلدار تھا !

سال نو تو آتے ہیں خوشی لے کر

بدلتے رنگوں میں چھپی ہنسی لے کر

کیا ڈھونڈ رہے ہو ویرانے دل میں مرے

وہ اور کچھ نہیں بس ٹوٹا مینار تھا

بیماری ہے یہ کیسی جلدی سے چھوٹ جائے

رفتار اس حقیقت کی خدا گر ٹوٹ جائے

اب سوچتا ہوں ضیغم یہ وقت گزر جائے گا

کہیں تیزی سے آیا فقط گردوغبار تھا
