داغ ہونے لگے ظاہر میرے

تیز کر رنگ مصور میرے

میری آنکھوں میں سیاہی بھر دے

یا ہرے کر دے مناظر میرے

نقرئی جھیل بلاتی تھی انہیں

پھنس گئے جال میں طائر میرے

کون تحلیل ہوا ہے مجھ میں

منتشر کیوں ہیں عناصر میرے

ہے کہاں شنکھ بجانے والا

کب سے خاموش ہیں مندر میرے

سنگ سے جسم بھی کر اب مجھ کو

تو کہاں کھویا ہے ساحر میرے

لفظ کی قید رہائی کا ہنر

کام آ ہی گیا آخر میرے
