سفر بھی اس بار دور کا ہے

میں دیکھ کر جس کو ڈر رہا تھا

وہ سایہ مجھ سے لپٹ گیا ہے

تمام رنگوں سے بھر کے مجھ کو

وہ شخص تصویر ہو گیا ہے

ندی بھی رستہ بدل رہی ہے

پہاڑ کا قد بھی گھٹ رہا ہے

تمہیں نے تاریکیاں بنی تھیں

تمہیں کو یہ جال کاٹنا ہے

چلو کہ دریا نکالتے ہیں

اٹھو کہ صحرا پکارتا ہے
