میرے حصے کی اداسی مجھے لوٹا دینا

جا رہے ہو تو مجھے کوئی تو تحفہ دینا

ایک قطرہ بھی مری پیاس بجھا سکتا ہے

میں نے کب تم سے کہا ہے مجھے دریا دینا

میرے صحرا مجھے ہونا ہے اندھیروں کے خلاف

جس میں سورج بھی چلا آئے وہ خیمہ دینا

کون لائے گا کسی پیاس کے سجدے کا جواب

اے خدا دشت نہ اب کرب و بلا سا دینا

ایک تنکا نہ نکالے گا بھنور سے مجھ کو

میں سمندر سے یہ کہتا ہوں سفینہ دینا
