ایسے وحشت ناک منظر مجھ میں آتے ہیں نظر

اب نہیں ہوتی کسی پر کوئی حیرانی مجھے

سینکڑوں صدیوں سے صحرا کی صدا کے ساتھ ہوں

راس آ سکتی نہیں دریا کی سلطانی مجھے

اس طرف ہی چل پڑوں گا سوچنے کا کیا مقام

جس طرف لے جائے گی یہ راہ انجانی مجھے
