عشق کی راہ میں یوں حد سے گزر مت جانا

ہوں گھڑے کچے تو دریا میں اتر مت جانا

پانچویں سمت نجومی نے اشارہ کر کے

شاہزادے سے کہا تھا کہ ادھر مت جانا

ہم انہی تپتی ہوئی راہوں میں مل جائیں گے

کوئی سایہ تمہیں روکے تو ٹھہر مت جانا

گھر کے جیسا کہیں آرام نہیں پاؤ گے

کوئی کہتا ہے کہ اب چھوڑ کے گھر مت جانا

سر اٹھائے ہوئے چلنا نہ کبھی دنیا میں

کبھی مقتل میں جھکائے ہوئے سر مت جانا

عشق کے تم تو طرف دار بہت ہو والیؔ

بات پڑ جائے تو اے یار مکر مت جانا
