دھوپ کے ساتھ گیا ساتھ نبھانے والا

اب کہاں آئے گا وہ لوٹ کے آنے والا

ریت پر چھوڑ گیا نقش ہزاروں اپنے

کسی پاگل کی طرح نقش مٹانے والا

سبز شاخیں کبھی ایسے تو نہیں چیختی ہیں

کون آیا ہے پرندوں کو ڈرانے والا

عارض شام کی سرخی نے کیا فاش اسے

پردۂ ابر میں تھا آگ لگانے والا

سفر شب کا تقاضا ہے مرے ساتھ رہو

دشت پر ہول ہے طوفان ہے آنے والا

مجھ کو در پردہ سناتا رہا قصہ اپنا

اگلے وقتوں کی حکایات سنانے والا

شبنمی گھاس گھنے پھول لرزتی کرنیں

کون آیا ہے خزانوں کو لٹانے والا

اب تو آرام کریں سوچتی آنکھیں میری

رات کا آخری تارا بھی ہے جانے والا
