آنکھ دکھلانے لگا ہے وہ فسوں ساز مجھے

کہیں اب خاک نہ چھنوائے یہ انداز مجھے

کیسے حیراں تھے تم آئینے میں جب آنکھ لڑی

آج تک یاد ہے اس عشق کا آغاز مجھے

سامنے آ نہیں سکتے کہ حجاب آتا ہے

پردۂ دل سے سناتے ہیں وہ آواز مجھے

تیلیاں توڑ کے نکلے سب اسیران قفس

مگر اب تک نہ ملی رخصت پرواز مجھے

پر کتر دے ارے صیاد چھری پھیرنا کیا

مار ڈالے گی یوں ہی حسرت پرواز مجھے

زیر دیوار صنم قبر میں سوتا ہوں فلک

کیوں نہ ہو طالع بیدار پر اب ناز مجھے

بے دھڑک آئے نہ زنداں میں نسیم وحشت

مست کر دیتی ہے زنجیر کی آواز مجھے

پردۂ ہجر وہی ہستئ موہوم تھی یاسؔ

سچ ہے پہلے نہیں معلوم تھا یہ راز مجھے
