روح کی تسکین چاہی رفعتوں کی چاہ کی

تجھ سے جو کر دے قریب ان زاویوں کی چاہ کی

ہر کوئی محتاجِ توفیقِ محبت ہے یہاں

تو نے جب چاہا تو ہم نے نیکیوں کی چاہ کی

سیدھ میں چلتے رہے اور تیرے در تک آ گئے

کم نظر کی کج روی نے راستوں کی چاہ کی

داستانِ طورِ سینا کے امیں ہیں یہ پہاڑ

ہم نے چاہی اک نظر سرگوشیوں کی چاہ کی

کس قدر خاموشی سے دریا فلک پر ہیں رواں

پیاس کے مارے ہوؤں نے بادلوں کی چاہ کی

کس نے بخشا ہے بشر کو ذوقِ فطرت دوستی

ہم نے دریاؤں کو سوچا جنگلوں کی چاہ کی

ہم سمندر سے محبت کرنے والے لوگ ہیں

غرقِ نظارہ ہوئے ہیں ساحلوں کی چاہ کی

اک فقط تو ہی رحمان اک فقط تو ہی رحیم

بات حمدی کر رہا ہے چاھتوں کی چاہ کی
