نوکری کا تجربہ بڑھتا رہا

بے بسی کا تجربہ بڑھتا رہا

جاری رہتی ہیں خطائیں موت تک

آدمی کا تجربہ بڑھتا رہا

مات کھائی ہے اندھیروں سے تو کیا

روشنی کا تجربہ بڑھتا رہا

آپ ہی کو ضد تھی مجھ سے ملنے کی

آپ ہی کا تجربہ بڑھتا رہا

عیش و عشرت آج تالہ بند ہے

سادگی کا تجربہ بڑھتا رہا

بندگی کی آرزو بڑھتی گئی

بے کلی کا تجربہ بڑھتا رہا

مشورے دینے کے قابل ہو گئے

زندگی کا تجربہ بڑھتا رہا

راستے میں پھول بھی ہیں خار بھی

راستی کا تجربہ بڑھتا رہا

اور تنہائی مری بڑھتی گئی

دوستی کا تجربہ بڑھتا رہا

روح میں اتری رہیں شامیں اداس

شاعری کا تجربہ بڑھتا رہا
