ننھا سا ایک جگنو بڑا کام کر گیا

وہ نیند کے سفر میں تو مخمور تھا بہت

آنکھیں کھلیں تو خواب کے منظر سے ڈر گیا

آنسو تھے اس قدر مری چشم ملال میں

ہر گوشہ گوشہ شہر کا اشکوں سے بھر گیا

پھیلی ہوئی ہے چاندنی احساس میں مرے

یہ کون میری ذات کے اندر اتر گیا

ہر شخص ہی کمندیں ظفرؔ پھینکنے لگا

اک پل کے واسطے جو خلا میں ٹھہر گیا
