اس پوری کائنات میں کتنا سراب ہے

روزانہ اک فقیر لگاتا ہے یہ صدا

دنیا سراب ہے ارے دنیا سراب ہے

موسیٰ نے ایک خواب حقیقت بنا دیا

ویسے تو گہرے پانی میں رستہ سراب ہے

پوری طرح سے ہاتھ میں آیا نہیں کبھی

وہ حسن بے مثال بھی آدھا سراب ہے

کھلتا نہیں ہے ریت ہے پانی کہ اور کچھ

میری نظر کے سامنے پہلا سراب ہے

سورج کی تیز دھوپ میں دھوکہ ہر ایک شے

کالی گھٹا سی رات میں سایہ سراب ہے
