مدعی کے گھر جلا گھی کا چراغ

خیر سے رہتا ہے روشن نام نیک

حشر تک جلتا ہے نیکی کا چراغ

وہ حقیقت ہے دل افسردہ کی

ٹمٹمائے جیسے سردی کا چراغ

ہم سے روشن ہے تمہاری بزم یوں

ناگوارا جیسے گرمی کا چراغ

ہو قناعت تجھ کو تو بس ہے ظہیرؔ

خانہ آرائی کو دمڑی کا چراغ
