ہائے کافر ترے ہم راہ عدو آتا ہے

کیا کہوں پاس یہ تیرا ہے کہ تو آتا ہے

نکہت عطر میں بس بس کے جو تو آتا ہے

اپنے ہم راہ لیے رشک کی بو آتا ہے

ناتوانی سے نہیں آہ و فغاں کی طاقت

نالہ تھم تھم کے مرا تابہ گلو آتا ہے

چونک پڑتا ہوں شب وعدہ ترے دھوکے میں

ہر قدم پر یہی کھٹکا ہے کہ تو آتا ہے

دختر رز کے قدم تک تو رسائی معلوم

محتسب سنگ در مے کدہ چھو آتا ہے

زخم دل پر کبھی ٹانکا نہ لگایا تم نے

ہم تو سمجھے تھے تمہیں خوب رفو آتا ہے
