میرے دل میں ہے یہ خیال سا

کہ وصال ہو بے مثال سا

مجھے شائبہ کہ یہ عشق ہے

تبھی دل ہوا ہے نڈھال سا

سبھی درد اپنے بھلا دیے

اسے جب بھی دیکھا نہال سا

کیوں فصیلِ جاں پہ ہے بوجھ سا

کیوں ہے چاہتوں پہ زوال سا

تجھے عشق کرنا نہ راس تھا

تو نے کیوں یہ پالا وبال سا

تجھے پیار کرنا بھی جرم تھا

مجھے آج تک ہے ملال سا
