خوف ہے مجھ کو مٹ نہ جاؤں اس کے ہر آثار کے ساتھ

غازہ پاؤڈر مل کر میں بھی آ جاتا ہوں سرخی میں

بک جاتا ہے چہرہ میرا سستے سے اخبار کے ساتھ

کیوں نہ بڑھ کر میں پی جاؤں تیرے نقلی سب تریاک

پھر تو دھوکا کر نہ پائے بستی میں بیمار کے ساتھ

ہوش کے ناخن لے تو سائیں کیوں یہ غوغا ڈالا ہے

دیکھ نہیں اب لے یہ چلتی نغمۂ دربار کے ساتھ

کس نے تجھ کو سونپی بھائی سرداری اس بستی کی

سب کے سب محشور یہ ہوں گے اپنے اپنے یار کے ساتھ

عمر تمامی شوق سے ہم نے ایک ہی تتلی پالی تھی

جب جب اس کو خواب میں دیکھا اڑتی ہے اغیار کے ساتھ
