NA-10 National Assembly Shangla - Results in 2008 General Election

In 2008 General National Assembly Election, Maulana Mohammad Qasim from Mutthida majlis-e-amal pakistan was elected as Member National Assembly MNA, and got 29279 votes, the second runner up was Nawabzada Abdul Qadir Khan from Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians who got 23138 votes. 8 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 256037 voters registered in NA-10, out of which 96680 votes were polled out, 93931 votes were valid and 2928 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 37.76 % for NA-10 constituency of National Assembly.
