NA-135 National Assembly Sheikhupura-II-Cum-Sheikhupura - Results in 2008 General Election

In 2008 General National Assembly Election, Choudhary Muhammad Barjees Tahir from Pakistan Muslim League (N) was elected as Member National Assembly MNA, and got 46739 votes, the second runner up was Rai Ijaz Ahmad Khan from Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians who got 42588 votes. 8 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 227137 voters registered in NA-135, out of which 124469 votes were polled out, 124469 votes were valid and 6006 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 54.79 % for NA-135 constituency of National Assembly.
