NA-159 National Assembly Khanewal-IV - Results in 2008 General Election

In 2008 General National Assembly Election, Ch. Iftikhar Nazir from Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians was elected as Member National Assembly MNA, and got 78255 votes, the second runner up was Malik Ghulam Murtaza Maitla from Pakistan Muslim League who got 61188 votes. 6 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 253131 voters registered in NA-159, out of which 158452 votes were polled out, 154589 votes were valid and 3901 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 62.59 % for NA-159 constituency of National Assembly.
