NA-162 National Assembly Sahiwal-III - Results in 2008 General Election

In 2008 General National Assembly Election, Ch. Zahid Iqbal from Pakistan Muslim League (N) was elected as Member National Assembly MNA, and got 75579 votes, the second runner up was Rai Hassan Nawaz Khan from Independent who got 65414 votes. 11 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 294702 voters registered in NA-162, out of which 169699 votes were polled out, 165517 votes were valid and 4182 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 57.58 % for NA-162 constituency of National Assembly.
