NA-187 National Assembly Layyah-l - Results in 2008 General Election

In 2008 General National Assembly Election, Ch. Saud Majeed from Pakistan Muslim League (N) was elected as Member National Assembly MNA, and got 77860 votes, the second runner up was Ch.pervaiz Elahi from Pakistan Muslim League who got 60079 votes. 4 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 317589 voters registered in NA-187, out of which 148572 votes were polled out, 144746 votes were valid and 3866 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 46.78 % for NA-187 constituency of National Assembly.
