NA-188 National Assembly Layyah-ll - Results in 2008 General Election

In 2008 General National Assembly Election, Muhammad Akhtar Khadim Alias Khadim Hussain. from Pakistan Muslim League was elected as Member National Assembly MNA, and got 52981 votes, the second runner up was Shoukat Ali Joya Laleka from Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians who got 44861 votes. 5 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 269766 voters registered in NA-188, out of which 148311 votes were polled out, 142799 votes were valid and 5542 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 54.98 % for NA-188 constituency of National Assembly.
