NA-196 National Assembly Jacobabad - Results in 2008 General Election

In 2008 General National Assembly Election, Javed Iqbal Warraich from Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians was elected as Member National Assembly MNA, and got 52090 votes, the second runner up was Mian Imtiaz Ahmad from Independent who got 47205 votes. 10 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 352887 voters registered in NA-196, out of which 145143 votes were polled out, 140670 votes were valid and 4552 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 41.01 % for NA-196 constituency of National Assembly.
