NA-227 National Assembly Hyderabad-ll - Results in 2008 General Election

In 2008 General National Assembly Election, Mir Munawar Ali Talpur from Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians was elected as Member National Assembly MNA, and got 82697 votes, the second runner up was Syed Qurban Ali Shah from Pakistan Muslim League who got 31159 votes. 17 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 331905 voters registered in NA-227, out of which 129060 votes were polled out, 124933 votes were valid and 5054 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 38.8 % for NA-227 constituency of National Assembly.
