NA-254 National Assembly Karachi Central-ll - Results in 2008 General Election

In 2008 General National Assembly Election, Dr. Muhammad Ayoub Shaikh from Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan was elected as Member National Assembly MNA, and got 132648 votes, the second runner up was Syed Sohail Abrar from Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians who got 14302 votes. 7 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 309295 voters registered in NA-254, out of which 155050 votes were polled out, 153502 votes were valid and 1548 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 50.13 % for NA-254 constituency of National Assembly.
