NA-38 National Assembly Dera Ismail Khan-I - Results in 2008 General Election

In 2008 General National Assembly Election, Munir Khan Orakzai from Independent was elected as Member National Assembly MNA, and got 16525 votes, the second runner up was Maulana Akhunzada Obaidullah Sharif from Independent who got 4270 votes. 20 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 87993 voters registered in NA-38, out of which 24919 votes were polled out, 24900 votes were valid and 19 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 28.31 % for NA-38 constituency of National Assembly.
