NA-39 National Assembly Dera Ismail Khan-ll - Results in 2008 General Election

In 2008 General National Assembly Election, Jawad Hussain from Independent was elected as Member National Assembly MNA, and got 21844 votes, the second runner up was Dr. Gul Karim Khan from Independent who got 8247 votes. 14 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 123335 voters registered in NA-39, out of which 49463 votes were polled out, 49126 votes were valid and 381 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 40.10 % for NA-39 constituency of National Assembly.
