NA-47 National Assembly Orakzai Agency Tribal Area-Vlll - Results in 2008 General Election

In 2008 General National Assembly Election, Zafar Baig Bhattani from Independent was elected as Member National Assembly MNA, and got 21426 votes, the second runner up was Doctor Nasim Afridi from Independent who got 10468 votes. 20 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 131222 voters registered in NA-47, out of which 46123 votes were polled out, 47706 votes were valid and 402 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 35.14 % for NA-47 constituency of National Assembly.
