NA-87 National Assembly Chiniot-II Cum-Jhang - Results in 2008 General Election

In 2008 General National Assembly Election, Ghulam Bibi Bharwana from Pakistan Muslim League was elected as Member National Assembly MNA, and got 63515 votes, the second runner up was Syeda Sughra Imam from Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians who got 55621 votes. 4 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 307499 voters registered in NA-87, out of which 146653 votes were polled out, 142022 votes were valid and 6457 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 47.6 % for NA-87 constituency of National Assembly.
