PB-48 Balochistan Assembly Kech-IV - Results in 2008 Provincial General Election

In 2008 General Provincial Balochistan Election, Syed Ahsan Shah from Balochistan National Party (Awami) was elected as Member Balochistan Assembly MPA, and got 24803 votes, the second runner up was Dr. Muhammad Haider Baloch from Independent who got 4599 votes. 13 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 78279 voters registered in PB-48, out of which 31652 votes were polled out, 32430 votes were valid and 528 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 40.43 % for PB-48 constituency of Balochistan.
