PB-8 Balochistan Assembly Barkhan - Results in 2008 Provincial General Election

In 2008 General Provincial Balochistan Election, Syed Matiullah Agha. from Mutthida majlis-e-amal pakistan was elected as Member Balochistan Assembly MPA, and got 7449 votes, the second runner up was Haji Nizamuddin from Awami National Party who got 4637 votes. 14 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 69487 voters registered in PB-8, out of which 17114 votes were polled out, 16638 votes were valid and 476 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 24.62 % for PB-8 constituency of Balochistan.
