PB-9 Balochistan Assembly Kohlu - Results in 2008 Provincial General Election

In 2008 General Provincial Balochistan Election, Asfand Yar Khan Kakar from Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians was elected as Member Balochistan Assembly MPA, and got 15182 votes, the second runner up was Abdul Wahid Saddiqui from Mutthida majlis-e-amal pakistan who got 10512 votes. 15 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 65641 voters registered in PB-9, out of which 28174 votes were polled out, 27017 votes were valid and 1157 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 42.92 % for PB-9 constituency of Balochistan.
