PK-55 Khyber Pakhtunkhawah Assembly Mardan-VIII - Results in 2008 Provincial General Election

In 2008 General Provincial Khyber Pakhtunkhawah Election, Mufti Khafiat Ullah from Mutthida majlis-e-amal pakistan was elected as Member Khyber Pakhtunkhawah Assembly MPA, and got 26782 votes, the second runner up was Shahzada Muhammad Gushtasp Khan from Pakistan Muslim League who got 22217 votes. 4 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 153277 voters registered in PK-55, out of which 50743 votes were polled out, 49896 votes were valid and 1109 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 33.10 % for PK-55 constituency of Khyber Pakhtunkhawah.
