PP-112 Punjab Assembly Faisalabad-XVI - Results in 2008 Provincial General Election

In 2008 General Provincial Punjab Election, Tanvir Ashraf Kaira from Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians was elected as Member Punjab Assembly MPA, and got 39965 votes, the second runner up was Ch. Liaqat Ali Bhaddar from Pakistan Muslim League who got 37911 votes. 8 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 162215 voters registered in PP-112, out of which 89565 votes were polled out, 87015 votes were valid and 2664 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 55.22 % for PP-112 constituency of Punjab.
