PP-140 Punjab Assembly Sheikhupura-VI - Results in 2008 Provincial General Election

In 2008 General Provincial Punjab Election, Muhammad Ajasim Sharif from Pakistan Muslim League (N) was elected as Member Punjab Assembly MPA, and got 28549 votes, the second runner up was Dr. Fakhar Ud Din Choudhary from Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians who got 10860 votes. 8 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 128581 voters registered in PP-140, out of which 43710 votes were polled out, 43215 votes were valid and 495 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 33.60 % for PP-140 constituency of Punjab.
