PP-142 Punjab Assembly Sheikhupura-VIII - Results in 2008 Provincial General Election

In 2008 General Provincial Punjab Election, Khawja Salman Rafique from Pakistan Muslim League (N) was elected as Member Punjab Assembly MPA, and got 31326 votes, the second runner up was Zameer Ahmad Khokhar from Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians who got 8295 votes. 10 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 150412 voters registered in PP-142, out of which 43869 votes were polled out, 43570 votes were valid and 340 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 29.16 % for PP-142 constituency of Punjab.
