PP-143 Punjab Assembly Sheikhupura-IX - Results in 2008 Provincial General Election

In 2008 General Provincial Punjab Election, Ch. Shahbaz Ahmed from Pakistan Muslim League (N) was elected as Member Punjab Assembly MPA, and got 32440 votes, the second runner up was Mian Mohammad Bilal Asghar from Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians who got 7673 votes. 7 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 134878 voters registered in PP-143, out of which 44172 votes were polled out, 43507 votes were valid and 665 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 32.75 % for PP-143 constituency of Punjab.
