PP-162 Punjab Assembly Lahore XIX - Results in 2008 Provincial General Election

In 2008 General Provincial Punjab Election, Muhammad Khuram Gulfam. from Pakistan Muslim League (N) was elected as Member Punjab Assembly MPA, and got 17818 votes, the second runner up was Ijaz Ahmad Sahool. from Independent who got 15765 votes. 10 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 107142 voters registered in PP-162, out of which 63430 votes were polled out, 62521 votes were valid and 2781 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 59 % for PP-162 constituency of Punjab.
