PP-178 Punjab Assembly Kasur-V - Results in 2008 Provincial General Election

In 2008 General Provincial Punjab Election, Ahmad Ali Tolu from Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians was elected as Member Punjab Assembly MPA, and got 25940 votes, the second runner up was Malik Ahmad Saeed Khan Advocate from Pakistan Muslim League who got 19416 votes. 12 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 109297 voters registered in PP-178, out of which 61875 votes were polled out, 59374 votes were valid and 2502 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 56.61 % for PP-178 constituency of Punjab.
