PP-201 Punjab Assembly Sahiwal-VI - Results in 2008 Provincial General Election

In 2008 General Provincial Punjab Election, Malik Muhammad Abbas Raan from Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians was elected as Member Punjab Assembly MPA, and got 36598 votes, the second runner up was Malik Mazhar Abbas Raan from Pakistan Muslim League who got 25412 votes. 6 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 159928 voters registered in PP-201, out of which 70722 votes were polled out, 69338 votes were valid and 1493 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 44.22 % for PP-201 constituency of Punjab.
