PP-223 Punjab Assembly Multan-XIII - Results in 2008 Provincial General Election

In 2008 General Provincial Punjab Election, Muhammad Hafeez Akhtar Chaudhry from Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians was elected as Member Punjab Assembly MPA, and got 26163 votes, the second runner up was Muhammad Arshad Khan Lodhi from Pakistan Muslim League who got 22982 votes. 4 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 117322 voters registered in PP-223, out of which 69988 votes were polled out, 67085 votes were valid and 2921 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 60 % for PP-223 constituency of Punjab.
