PP-232 Punjab Assembly Vehari-IV - Results in 2008 Provincial General Election

In 2008 General Provincial Punjab Election, Ch. Fiaz Ahmed Waraich from Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians was elected as Member Punjab Assembly MPA, and got 32354 votes, the second runner up was Peer Ghulam Mohy-ud-din Chishti from Pakistan Muslim League who got 31514 votes. 10 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 188264 voters registered in PP-232, out of which 88939 votes were polled out, 86721 votes were valid and 3450 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 47.24 % for PP-232 constituency of Punjab.
