PP-247 Punjab Assembly Bahawalpur-III - Results in 2008 Provincial General Election

In 2008 General Provincial Punjab Election, Sardar Sher Ali Khan Gorchani from Pakistan Muslim League (N) was elected as Member Punjab Assembly MPA, and got 24392 votes, the second runner up was Ghazali Rahim Khan from Pakistan Muslim League who got 23415 votes. 8 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 151413 voters registered in PP-247, out of which 66757 votes were polled out, 63824 votes were valid and 3055 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 44 % for PP-247 constituency of Punjab.
