PP-40 Punjab Assembly Sialkot-VI - Results in 2008 Provincial General Election

In 2008 General Provincial Punjab Election, Karam Ellahi Bandial from Independent was elected as Member Punjab Assembly MPA, and got 26494 votes, the second runner up was Malik Hassan Nawaz Gunjial from Independent who got 24190 votes. 7 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 131178 voters registered in PP-40, out of which 79919 votes were polled out, 76335 votes were valid and 3584 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 60.92 % for PP-40 constituency of Punjab.
