PP-56 Punjab Assembly Gujranwala-VI - Results in 2008 Provincial General Election

In 2008 General Provincial Punjab Election, Rai Ejaz Hussain from Pakistan Muslim League was elected as Member Punjab Assembly MPA, and got 31011 votes, the second runner up was Sardar Sikandar Hayat Jatoi from Pakistan Muslim League (N) who got 24582 votes. 7 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 130119 voters registered in PP-56, out of which 75567 votes were polled out, 73516 votes were valid and 2087 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 58.07 % for PP-56 constituency of Punjab.
