PP-77 Punjab Assembly Sargodha-VI - Results in 2008 Provincial General Election

In 2008 General Provincial Punjab Election, Haji Muhammad Yaqub Sheikh from Pakistan Muslim League was elected as Member Punjab Assembly MPA, and got 36486 votes, the second runner up was Zafar Abbas Adil from Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians who got 33554 votes. 21 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 221134 voters registered in PP-77, out of which 85856 votes were polled out, 82641 votes were valid and 3722 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 39 % for PP-77 constituency of Punjab.
