PP-78 Punjab Assembly Sargodha-VII - Results in 2008 Provincial General Election

In 2008 General Provincial Punjab Election, Khalid Mehmood Sargana from Pakistan Muslim League was elected as Member Punjab Assembly MPA, and got 27286 votes, the second runner up was Mian Zahoor Sajid from Independent who got 23809 votes. 7 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 166186 voters registered in PP-78, out of which 83309 votes were polled out, 80288 votes were valid and 3185 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 50.13 % for PP-78 constituency of Punjab.
